This position will lead and support divisions of Highways and Public Works in working with Yukon First Nations and Transboundary Indigenous groups in order to support analysis, development and implementation of agreements, accords, policies and other initiatives.

Essential Qualifications
Qualifications
- Postsecondary degree in Indigenous Studies, Public Administration, or related discipline.
- Experience and/or coursework in collaborative problem solving and/or facilitation.
- Considerable experience leading and providing recommendations on complex joint projects, agreements and initiatives involving multiple partners.
- Experience leading consultation and engagement with Indigenous organizations.
- Experience working with First Nation governments and organizations.
- Working knowledge of Yukon First Nation Final and Self-Government Agreements.
- Experience delivering training on First Nation Relation topics (e.g. consultation, engagement or Yukon First Nation 101) is an asset.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
