Position: Maple Ridge Election Officials Needed

The City of Maple Ridge is hiring Election Supervisors for the General Local Election set for October 17, 2026, alongside advance voting opportunities from October 7-15, 2026. This leadership role involves supervising the voting process, ensuring compliance with election activities, and providing excellent voter assistance. Successful candidates will thrive in dynamic environments and exhibit strong organizational capabilities and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the setup and closing of voting locations
• Monitor election officials for compliance and task completion
• Handle interactions with voters courteously and expertly
• Ensure timely delivery of election supplies
• Execute required duties of Election Officials as necessary
Requirements:
• Must arrange transport to and from voting sites
• Required attendance at mandatory training on October 1-2, 2026
• Capable of standing or sitting for long shifts
• Strong command of English and detail-oriented skills
• Relevant election process experience is a plus
