About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for a seasoned marketing and communications professional to lead and execute integrated marketing initiatives. This senior role focuses on driving brand alignment, managing communications strategies, and delivering impactful campaigns that support overall business objectives.

The successful candidate will coordinate projects, manage content, oversee corporate events, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a highly organised, creative, and adaptable individual with strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Translate corporate strategy into actionable marketing plans and campaigns
  • Manage brand positioning and ensure consistent corporate identity across all platforms
  • Plan and deliver corporate events, including conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and promotional activities
  • Oversee media relations, including press releases, publicity, and stakeholder engagement
  • Manage internal communications to ensure alignment across business units
  • Coordinate and manage external agencies and service providers where required
  • Create, edit, and manage marketing content across multiple channels
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring timelines, quality, and objectives are met
  • Manage marketing budgets, procurement processes, and reporting
  • Conduct market research and customer insights to inform strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, industry stakeholders, and partners
  • Support product marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance and effectiveness

Additional Responsibilities

  • Drive change management and organisational communication initiatives
  • Manage corporate communications, advertising, and brand positioning
  • Support community engagement, CSR, and social investment initiatives
  • Handle crisis communications and reputation management
  • Manage sponsorships and partnership initiatives
  • Oversee government and industry relations where required

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing and communications role

Required Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills at a senior level
  • Experience in corporate communications, media relations, and brand management

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in tools such as SharePoint, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Experience with digital platforms including social media, Mailchimp, and WordPress
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
