Role Description: The Medical Support Manager – Business Development will play a dual role by providing medical and healthcare domain support while actively contributing to business development, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, project implementation, and revenue generation.
The role requires a healthcare professional with strong relationship-building skills who can bridge the gap between clinical stakeholders and business objectives. The incumbent will support healthcare projects, medical education initiatives, digital health programs, public health interventions, hospital collaborations, and healthcare technology solutions.
Based in Pune, the candidate will be responsible for developing institutional partnerships across Maharashtra and Western India while supporting organizational growth initiatives in the entire PAN India.

Key Responsibilities
Medical & Technical Support
- Provide medical and healthcare domain support to business development and project teams.
- Assist in designing healthcare solutions, proposals, and service offerings.
- Support clinical discussions with hospitals, medical colleges, healthcare professionals, and healthcare administrators.
- Coordinate with doctors, healthcare experts, and public health specialists for project implementation.
- Participate in healthcare workshops, CMEs, conferences, and academic activities.
- Assist in development of healthcare training programs, digital health initiatives, and public health projects.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify new business opportunities within hospitals, healthcare organizations, medical colleges, NGOs, corporates, and government agencies.
- Generate leads and convert them into strategic partnerships.
- Develop relationships with healthcare decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Promote organizational services, healthcare programs, training initiatives, and digital health solutions.
- Support negotiations, proposals, presentations, and contract discussions.
- Build referral networks and channel partnerships.
Institutional & Hospital Relations
- Establish collaborations with:

- Public Health Organizations
- CSR Foundations
- Maintain long-term institutional relationships.
- Facilitate onboarding and implementation of healthcare projects.
Project Coordination & Implementation
- Support execution of healthcare and public health projects.
- Coordinate with operations, clinical, technical, and partner teams.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare project reports and stakeholder updates.
Market Development
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Identify emerging opportunities in healthcare, digital health, public health, and medical education sectors.
- Develop strategies for market expansion in Maharashtra and neighboring regions.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and partners.
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Resolve operational and service-related concerns.
- Strengthen long-term business relationships.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare proposals, concept notes, presentations, reports, and partnership documents.
- Maintain CRM records and lead tracking systems.
- Submit weekly and monthly business development reports.
Qualification & Experience
Essential:
- BAMS / BHMS / BPT / BSc Nursing / MPT / MHA / MPH / Life Sciences Graduate.
- 3–7 years of experience in Healthcare Business Development, Hospital Marketing, Medical Liaison, Public Health Projects, or Healthcare Partnerships.
Preferred:
- MBA (Healthcare Management/Marketing).
- Experience in Healthcare Technology, Medical Education, Digital Health, or Public Health Programs.
- Strong network within hospitals and healthcare institutions in Pune and Maharashtra.
