Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft-based infrastructure within our organization. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and high performance of servers, operating systems, and IT environments across headquarters and remote locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Microsoft systems, servers, and related infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Install, configure, and manage Windows Server environments and core Microsoft services.
- Administer physical and virtual servers across multiple locations.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patch management.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage data storage, backup systems, and ensure data integrity and recovery readiness.
- Install and configure new hardware and software systems.
- Evaluate and manage lifecycle of IT equipment (reuse or disposal).
- Maintain and monitor backup and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Liaise with external vendors for system support and upgrades.
- Prepare periodic reports on system performance and incidents.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2–6 years of overall IT experience.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, servers, storage, and data centers.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and system hardening.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
