Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate (and where applicable, graduate) courses in Management Information Systems.
- Supervise student research projects and academic activities.
- Provide academic advising and professional mentorship.
- Maintain an active research agenda with measurable scholarly output.
- Publish in internationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in academic committees and institutional governance.
- Contribute to curriculum development, program review, and continuous improvement.
- Support accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional effectiveness initiatives.
Qualifications
- PhD in Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- All degrees must be awarded by accredited universities through traditional, on-campus study.
Experience & Research Requirements
For Professor:
- Minimum 8 years of academic experience at a reputable higher education institution.
- Must have held the rank of Assistant Professor for at least 4 years and Associate Professor for at least 4 years.
- Minimum 13 high-quality, full-length publications in reputable international peer-reviewed journals.
- Scopus h-index of 20 or above is preferred.
- At least 3 publications within the last 5 years.
- First author on at least 7 publications.
For Associate Professor:
- Minimum 4 years of experience at the academic rank of Assistant Professor in a reputable higher education institution.
- Minimum 8 high-quality, full-length publications in reputable international peer-reviewed journals.
- At least 3 publications within the last 5 years.
- First author on at least 4 publications.
