Our Client

Our client is a leading professional services firm with a highly regarded Infrastructure Advisory division. The team works across major sustainability, climate and infrastructure initiatives advising both public and private sector clients on complex environmental and policy challenges.

Due to continued growth in demand for advisory services around nature-based solutions, biodiversity and climate resilience, the team is now seeking an experienced professional to join their Biodiversity unit at Senior Manager level.

  • A background in environmental science, ecology, geography or similar disciplines
  • Experience working within consulting, infrastructure advisory, sustainability or policy environments
  • Strong client engagement skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business insights

Role and Reporting Lines

This role sits within the organisation’s Infrastructure Advisory division and reports directly to the Director of the Nature & Biodiversity team. Responsibilities will include:

  • Client Advisory – Deliver strategic advisory engagements focused on nature, biodiversity and land-use issues across public and private sector clients.
  • Project Leadership – Manage project workstreams from planning through to delivery ensuring high-quality outputs and client satisfaction.
  • Strategic Analysis – Translate scientific and regulatory developments into practical insights to support client decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Lead and facilitate client meetings, workshops and presentations with senior stakeholders.
  • Sustainability Strategy – Support organisations in understanding nature-related risks, opportunities and emerging regulatory frameworks.
  • Business Development – Contribute to proposals, market engagement and growth of the sustainability advisory offering.
  • Team Leadership – Coach and mentor junior team members within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues across climate, sustainability and infrastructure advisory projects.
