European Market (Based in Dubai)Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Representative to support the European market, while being based in Dubai, UAE.

This role requires solid knowledge of the maritime and logistics industry, particularly in supporting U.S. Government vessels in foreign ports. The representative will manage operational coordination, logistics execution, vendor negotiations, and client communications in remote and high-demand environments.

The ideal candidate will ensure seamless service delivery, manage expectations among stakeholders involved in Navy military operations, and maintain high operational standards across European ports.

Key ResponsibilitiesPort & Logistics Operations Management

  • Oversee and coordinate all port service activities, including:
  • 3PL logistics coordination
  • Procurement appointments
  • Ad-hoc supply purchases
  • Transportation service solutions
  • Customs clearance assistance
  • Delivery of goods and services to/from Navy vessels
  • Support husbandry operations related to vessel activities, crewing, and project cargo when required.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with collaborators, customers, port authorities, and vendors.
  • Communicate proactively regarding service delivery updates, delays, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Negotiate competitive pricing with vendors to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Identify and pursue new RTOP business opportunities within the assigned region.

Financial & Project Oversight

  • Manage invoices, project deadlines, and bidding budgets.
  • Forecast costs, fees, and miscellaneous charges.
  • Prepare and close expense reports.
  • Monitor supplier quotations and third-party coverage.
  • Track port performance, vessel schedules, project milestones, and risk assessments.

Reporting & Business Development

  • Prepare regular reports on:
  • Active projects
  • Bidding progress
  • Supplier performance
  • Risk assessments
  • Port operations and transportation execution
  • Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends in the European maritime sector.
  • Gather operational feedback and mission data for continuous improvement.

Travel Requirements

  • Frequent travel within Europe to oversee port operations and strengthen vendor relationships

Eligibility Requirement:

  • Applicants must hold a valid European passport

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bilingual: English (mandatory); additional European language is a plus
  • Strong cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in fast-paced operational environments.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with ability to meet market-share targets.
  • Experience in:
  • Maritime logistics
  • Port husbandry operations
  • Shipping or cargo industry
  • Military-related logistics (preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Highly organized, proactive, solutions-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience.

The position is bonus eligible based on performance and RTOP achievements.
