Join our team at Strategic Sight Consulting LLC for an opportunity as an Operations Research Analyst supporting Counter‑Unmanned Systems (C‑UxS) and operations. The candidate will conduct operational analysis of C‑sUAS threats, vulnerabilities, and capability gaps within a war fighting domain.

Responsibilities and Background

  • Deliver CUAS 101 instruction covering the UAS threat landscape, basic principles of UAS system operation (UAS Kill Chain, Passive RF Detection, RADAR, Camera, System of Systems, and Active Signal Mitigation), and Operations Center conduct.
  • Analyze service‑specific requirements, operational concepts, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for C‑UxS/C‑sUAS employment.
  • Conduct hands‑on, system‑specific training on fielded C‑UAS platforms including but not limited to: radar, EO/IR, acoustic, and other sensors, as well as EW systems and recommend domain‑specific C‑UxS solutions, integration strategies, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with service component representatives, Joint staff, and interagency partners to ensure C‑UxS capabilities meet domain‑specific operational requirements.
  • Support test events, training exercises, and vulnerability assessments with domain expertise.
  • Prepare analytical reports, briefings, and recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Apply knowledge across one or more war fighting domains including, but not limited to, Maritime operations (Navy Afloat and Army Watercraft), Fixed Site/Point and Base Defense operations (Air Force and Navy Ashore), and Ground operations (Dismounted and Mobile, Army and Marines).

Requirements

  • United States citizenship.
  • Active Top Secret/Ret security clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting operations research, analysis, or related functional area.
  • Familiarity with Counter‑UxS/C‑sUAS mission sets and operational environments.
  • Possesses intermediate technical skills and is knowledgeable and experienced in most aspects of a program or functional area.
  • Ability to work under general supervision with some degree of independence.
  • Experience supporting analytical efforts related to operational planning, execution, and assessment.
  • Ability to prepare analytical products, reports, and briefings.
  • Proven ability to work within tight timelines with high‑quality output.
  • Proven ability to adapt with agility to changing mission requirements.
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal; must be able to identify and prioritize customer requirements.
  • Sincere commitment to working collaboratively with all constituent groups (members, staff, etc.).
  • Extreme attention to detail; takes pride in and ownership of work and can manage projects from concept through launch with very little supervision.
  • Proven critical thinker who makes appropriate decisions and finds solutions easily.

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience supporting DoD or federal government programs.
