Position: Park Ranger – Safety and Enforcement Role
Serve as the face of the parks with the District of North Vancouver as a Park Ranger. Focus on public safety, bylaw enforcement, and environmental integrity within breathtaking landscapes.

As a Park Ranger, you will monitor park activities, promote compliance, and engage with the community while conducting marine patrols. Your responsibilities will include educating visitors about regulations and ensuring safe park experiences through effective communication and conflict resolution. This role also emphasizes teamwork as you support efforts to assist the homeless in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visible authority and enforce park bylaws

• Conduct patrols for safety and environmental protection

• Interact with visitors to explain park regulations

• Address non-compliance and manage conflicts

• Maintain accurate records of patrol activities

Requirements:

• Graduation from 12th grade with relevant training

• First aid and CPR certifications required

• Valid BC Driver’s Licence

• Skills in conflict resolution and outdoor safety

• Completion of Bylaw Investigative Courses as an asset
