Salary Range: LGO3 ($78,412 – $84,646 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience

About The Role

Deliver effective parking and compliance services across Townsville, ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow in the CBD and surrounding areas. You will enforce parking regulations in a fair and balanced manner, investigate and manage abandoned vehicles, and support compliance activities within campgrounds. The role also involves maintaining industry best practice and engaging professionally with the community through regular face-to-face interactions.

You will respond to service requests and customer enquiries promptly, provide practical advice, and build strong stakeholder relationships, including supporting parking outcomes for major events. Working collaboratively across regulatory teams, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement, share knowledge, and maintain your expertise through ongoing training and development.

About You

  • Experience in regulatory or enforcement roles
  • Knowledge of parking regulations and relevant legislation
  • Strong investigation skills with ability to gather evidence
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
  • Effective communication skills, including managing difficult interactions
  • Intermediate computer skills and accurate data entry ability
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Current unrestricted QLD “C” Class Driver’s Licence
