2. About the Opportunity:

The Payroll Specialist IV is responsible for delivering quality and efficient payroll, benefits, and HR administration services to customers through the organization''s Managed Services offering. This role ensures compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements while maintaining strong communication with customers and partners. The position contributes to optimizing service delivery and adapting to changing customer needs, supporting the broader goal of operational excellence.

3. Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain new hires and terminations

• Administer leave processes

• Maintain third-party relationships including unions, workers compensation, pension, and benefit providers

• Generate and manage reporting

• Liaise with third-party vendors and government agencies

• Manage calendar of events and change controls

• Handle inquiry management and issue resolution

• Process year-end forms and perform monthly, quarterly, and annual balancing

• File and reconcile tax and remittance submissions

• Document processes accurately

• Stay updated on legislative requirements and changes

• Understand and respond to customer requirements and evolving needs

• Communicate effectively with customers, employees, internal partners, and vendors per SLAs

• Meet quality targets and continually improve processes and service tools

• Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a high-volume payroll environment

• Experience in customer service within deadline-driven settings

• PCP Certification or ability to obtain within 18 months of employment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple platforms

• Proficiency with computers and software including Word, Excel, and internet applications
