General Overview

A leading tech company is seeking an experienced People & Culture expert to lead and drive organizational culture, Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives, internal and external communications, employer branding, and social media engagement. This role will also oversee the well-being, engagement, and safety of employees within a dynamic and fast-paced tech environment.

As the People & Culture Head, you will play a strategic role in fostering a high-performance, people-centric culture that supports business growth, innovation, and alignment with the organization’s values and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Learning and Development (L&D):

  • Develop and lead the company's L&D strategy, identifying training needs, implementing programs, and measuring effectiveness.
  • Foster a continuous learning culture by introducing innovative learning tools and platforms, mentoring programs, and career development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to tailor training programs specific to technical and soft skills needed for different teams.
  • Manage partnerships with external training providers and oversee the budget for all learning initiatives.

Culture Building and Organizational Development:

  • Drive cultural initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging across all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with leadership on change management and organizational development efforts to align with the company’s strategic vision.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, ensuring that the company’s core values are reflected in policies, processes, and employee behaviors.

Employee Experience and Engagement:

  • Design and implement employee engagement surveys, gather feedback, and present insights to senior leadership.
  • Lead employee recognition and reward programs to celebrate achievements and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Coordinate employee wellness initiatives, including mental health programs, work-life balance, and wellness days.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives, including company-wide events, All hands meeting, recognition programs, and cultural activities that promote unity and well-being.

Social Media and Employer Branding:

  • Manage content creation for social platforms to promote the company’s culture, values, and open opportunities.
  • Engage with the external audience to build a strong employer brand and maintain a positive online reputation.

Safety Action Plan:

  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Safety Action Plan.
  • Conduct safety training programs for employees and management to maintain awareness and adherence to safety standards.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams (HR, Facilities, IT) to ensure that all safety standards are integrated into day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in People and Culture, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading Learning and Development programs, and internal/external communications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage corporate communications and act as a spokesperson on behalf of the company.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems, learning management platforms, and employee engagement software.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to implement culture-shaping initiatives.
  • Expertise in handling crisis communications and employer branding.
