Role Description
The Permit Coordinator will manage and oversee the permitting process for construction and development projects. Responsibilities include preparing permit applications, coordinating with local government offices, tracking permit statuses, and ensuring compliance with regulations and timelines. The role also requires excellent communication with clients and stakeholders to address any inquiries. This is a part-time temporary on-site role based in Hartville, OH.
Qualifications
- Experience with Permit Applications and Building Permits, including filing and supporting documentation
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities effectively
- Familiarity with Inspection processes and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools. Familiarity with permitting software is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in permitting or working with city/county approval bodies is an advantage
