Position: Full-Time Planner at RDKB

This permanent role in the Planning and Development Department reports to the Current Planning Supervisor. Your responsibilities will include addressing planning inquiries and processing provincial referrals while delivering exceptional service. The position may require occasional after-hours work for public engagement, emphasizing the district’s commitment to community involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process current applications and provincial referrals
• Respond to public planning questions efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service to the community
• Attend public engagement events as required
• Collaborate with team members to enhance planning efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Planning or related field
• Minimum one year of planning office experience
• Eligible for membership with planning institutes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
