Senior PMO Support – Central Government Programme
Contract (Inside IR35) | Up to £390/day | London (Hybrid)
AgileSource is supporting a consultancy partner delivering into Central Government, with a requirement for an experienced Senior PMO Support professional to join a large-scale technology integration programme.
This role sits within a complex delivery environment and is focused on hands-on PMO execution, ensuring robust planning, governance, and reporting across the programme.
The Role
Working closely with the PMO Lead and delivery teams, you will provide day-to-day PMO support to maintain quality, consistency, and delivery confidence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining integrated programme and workstream plans (MS Project or equivalent)
- Managing RAID logs, ensuring quality, clear ownership, and actionable mitigation
- Supporting dependency tracking and identifying risks to delivery confidence
- Producing high-quality governance packs (status, risks, decisions, forward look)
- Supporting resource tracking, financial inputs, and delivery reporting
- Ensuring consistency and quality across PMO artefacts
- Working with delivery teams to strengthen PMO discipline and standards
Key Requirements (Essential)
- Previous experience working within Central Government environments
- Experience supporting large-scale technology integration programmes
- Strong PMO / project support experience within complex delivery environments
- Proven experience producing board-level reporting and governance packs
- Solid planning and scheduling capability (MS Project or equivalent)
- High attention to detail and focus on data quality and consistency
- Comfortable engaging across multiple delivery teams and stakeholders
Additional Information
- Day rate: Up to £390 per day (Inside IR35)
- Duration: Contract through to end of March 2027
- Location: Hybrid – expected on client site once per week in central London
- Clearance: BPSS required
