SCLVN membership includes Engineers, Architects, Lawyers, legal expert, Quantity Surveyor, commercial expert and other experts who are Vietnamese citizens operating in fields related to construction law. SCLVN working to support members to improve knowledge and qualifications, information exchange on construction law, contribute to create the stable and sustainable environment for construction activities in Vietnam and the country’s socio-economic development.
SCLVN has 2 offices in HCMC and Hanoi, and HCMC main office is located in 3rd floor, TTAD office, 24 Nguyen Cuu Van, Gia Dinh ward, HCMC.

Role Description
This is an on-site internship role located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for a Policy Research Intern. The intern will support the research and analysis of construction policies, draft reports, and assist in formulating recommendations for projects and operations.
- Review papers/ news in construction laws/ regulations and prepare updates to SCLVN members
- Assist in research projects lead by SCLVN
- Assist translation works of international construction law
- Assist in writing letters/ reports / recommendations to government authorities
Responsibilities also include gathering and synthesizing data, monitoring policy developments, and presenting findings to the team. The intern will collaborate with SCLVN members to ensure that the research projects align with current regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background in either law (international law, commercial law) or civil engineering (construction management, construcstion economics) or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and present information effectively.
- Proficiency in writing, editing, and preparing concise policy briefs and reports in both English and Vietnamese
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familirity of AI Tools (Gemini, Claude) is an advantage.
