We are looking for a HM Principal Inspector of Railways:
Emergency Management Specialist (London office).
Working pattern
Hybrid: minimum two days per week / 40% of time working from a workplace location.

Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice to the CTSA on emergency management issues, including fire and rescue operations.
- Lead inspections of Channel Tunnel operators’ emergency preparedness and response arrangements.
- Offer wider support to ORR on emergency planning across GB rail operations.
- Represent the UK as part of the CTSA delegation.
- Lead a small, multi-disciplinary team of CTSA inspectors and emergency services.
- Work closely with French counterparts to coordinate the regulation of Channel Tunnel operations.
Qualifications
Highly experienced emergency planning professional, with proven expertise in emergency management, inspections and coordination with cross-border partners.
