Minimum Qualifications
- New York State Certified Teacher in Social Studies 7-12.
- Experience teaching high school Global History and Participation in Government classes preferred.
- Ability to provide differentiated instruction to students at all levels.
- Ability to use authentic and traditional assessments to differentiate instruction and improve student achievement.
- Evidence of academic success at undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to the school's mission and vision.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Evidence of positive classroom management skills.
Qualifications Desired
- Experience teaching high school students.
- Strong computer skills and ability to integrate technology into instruction.
