The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing and processing purchase requests, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The position oversees supplier sourcing and evaluation, supports contract negotiation, and maintains vendor databases in line with organizational standards and compliance requirements. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring inventory and assets, coordinating property maintenance and repair activities, and ensuring optimal use of office facilities and equipment. The role also involves tracking procurement and property budgets, preparing periodic reports, and collaborating with finance, operations, and other internal teams to support smooth organizational operations.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement expertise, including experience with Purchase Orders and end-to-end Procurement processes.
- Demonstrated ability in Supplier Evaluation and vendor management, with a focus on reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
- Experience in Contract Negotiation, including drafting, reviewing, and managing supplier and service agreements.
- Solid Analytical Skills to assess bids, monitor spending, optimize inventory, and produce clear procurement and property reports.
- Experience in property or facilities management, including asset tracking, maintenance coordination, and space management.
- Knowledge of procurement policies, regulations, and best practices, preferably within financial services or regulated industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Logistics.
- Proficiency in standard office software and procurement or asset management systems; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional fluency in English; knowledge of local languages in Ethiopia is an advantage.
