Product Lead Jobs in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan at PRG Pakistan

Title: Product Lead

Company: PRG Pakistan

Location: Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan

Role Overview

The Product Lead will own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery across the entire portfolio of PRG products. They will line-manage the product team (BAs, POs, UI/UX & QA) and partner closely with Director R&D and engineering leadership on scope, sequencing, and delivery across all product development initiatives. The role requires strong domain expertise in healthcare and medical billing/RCM, deep product craft, and fluency with modern AI tooling for prototyping, discovery, and design.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, Business, or a related discipline.
  • A technical background is a strong plus.

Experience

  • 6+ years of product management/development experience.
  • 3+ years in a lead product role (Product Lead, Senior PM, Group PM, Director of Product, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on management of 3+ direct reports (POs, BAs, designers, QA etc).
  • Track record of shipping AI-powered products/features where product was built around AI and not a chat-widget bolted onto an existing product.
  • Proven track record of owning end-to-end product life-cycle for at least one B2B SaaS product at scale.
  • Direct experience building products in medical billing, RCM, or adjacent U.S. healthcare verticals.
  • Prior hands-on software development experience is a strong plus.

Domain Knowledge

  • Familiarity with the U.S. healthcare ecosystem (medical/dental RCM, care management programs including CCM, PCM, TCM, RPM etc).
  • HIPAA-grade privacy and compliance instinct in product design.
  • Direct RCM, medical billing, or US health-tech product experience.
  • EDI X12 standards (270/271, 276/277, 837P/I, 835).
  • FHIR R4, HL7v2, SMART on FHIR.
  • Familiarity with one or more of: Athenahealth, Tebra, AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, Epic, Practice Fusion, Waystar, Availity, Optum, Stedi. You should possess a strong ability to proactively and quickly absorb complex, regulated and data-rich healthcare domain quickly. You're the kind of person who, three months in, knows more about US healthcare systems than any other member in the R&D department.

Product Skills

  • Excellent product sense. Aligns technical work with measurable business outcomes and ROI to deliver high impact solutions.
  • Runs and owns discovery. Conducts user, stakeholder & market research, gathers business/user requirements, and translates them into a clear product roadmap across all PRG products.
  • Strategic planner with clear decision rationale. Differentiates must-have from good-to-have requirements and prioritizes accordingly.
  • Fluent with prioritization frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW, opportunity scoring), but treats them as tools, not rituals.
  • Writes crisp PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineers respect and that AI agents can act on directly.
  • Strong storyteller who can rally stakeholders and technical teams around the roadmap and product vision.
  • Strong project management instincts. Owns delivery end to end through Agile and Scrum rituals (sprint planning, backlog grooming, release management, dependency tracking) and proactively steps in resolve blockers.
  • Owns UI/UX and QA across PRG products. Strong design sense and a high bar for product quality.

AI Fluency

  • You build with AI tools, not just use them. You apply them daily to raise both the quality and the productivity bar of your work.
  • Strong AI builder instinct. We expect to see evidence you have shipped with AI tools, whether that is a GitHub repo, a working prototype, or a screen share walkthrough of something you built.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype product concepts using AI tools, including prototypes, mockups, and proof of concept flows.
  • Comfortable owning & shipping design (UI/UX) with AI tools, without a designer in the loop. As AI design tools mature, we expect Product to absorb increasing UI/UX scope.
  • Drives AI adoption and enablement across the product function. Coaches POs, BAs, and designers to make AI tooling part of their daily workflow.

Strategic Thinking

  • Exceptional strategic thinking is a core part of this role.
  • You should be comfortable taking on strategy work handed down directly from leadership, conducting your own research, and advising on the path forward — whether that involves build vs. buy decisions, partnership choices, or any other product/technology related strategic call.
  • You should be able to navigate ambiguity and lack of clarity to land on a recommendation, using a data driven approach and structured market research.

Software Development Skills

  • The bar here is not engineer level coding. It is engineer adjacent literacy — enough technical depth that engineers treat you as a peer, not a translator.
  • Comfortable across the technical surface area of a modern product. You can write database queries, read and understand REST APIs, navigate schemas and data models, reason about architecture, and read FHIR and X12 schemas without asking for translation.
  • Able to scope work on technical terms. You can push back credibly on engineering estimates and align with technical leadership on scope, without needing extensive back and forth on feasibility.
  • Some hands on development experience. Familiar with git, basic CLI, Docker, and running apps locally.

Leadership & Communication

  • Prior experience line managing a product team of 3+ members across POs, BAs, designers, and QA.
  • Hands on coaching style. You raise the bar of every member reporting to you, and you give and receive sharp feedback.
  • Documentation-first culture; strong PRDs, decision records, and written communication. Treats writing as the primary tool for alignment, not meetings.
  • Strong storyteller and stakeholder manager. Excellent verbal and written English. Comfortable representing the product function in executive forums, with operational stakeholders (billing managers, providers), and with external partners.
  • Active role in hiring, upgrading, and growing the Product Squad.
  • Partners with technical and non-technical stakeholders for driving initiatives including vendor evaluation, scoping, and gap fit analysis.

Cultural Fit

  • Humble, collaborative, proactive, and self driven.
  • Strong ownership and accountability. Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Low ego, high ownership. You raise the bar of everyone around you. You own outcomes and are comfortable jumping on calls, running QA, troubleshooting with engineering, or supporting end users when needed. You are not precious about where your job ends.
  • Doer, not delegator. If you see a broken flow, you find a way to fix it. You do not file a ticket and wait.
  • Believes in AI first product development and is excited to shape that culture at PRG. Thinks actively about how AI can make you and the team faster, not as a buzzword but as something you build toward daily.
  • Promotes these cultural values across the product function and reinforces them in how the team operates day to day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and long term strategy across PRG's product portfolio. Build and drive a unified, prioritized, outcome based roadmap.
  • Line manage the Product Squad (POs, BAs, UI/UX, and QA). Hire, mentor, and set product management standards for the department.
  • Establish and run the embedded-PO operating model across the department. Every PO sits inside a squad, attends standups, owns feature verification, and runs the discovery → PRD → prototype → PR → release pipeline alongside engineering.
  • Own progress tracking against roadmap commitments. Manage cross squad dependencies and timelines, surface risks early, and drive on time, high quality delivery across all initiatives.
  • Lead discovery for new features. Use modern AI tools to rapidly prototype and validate concepts before broader engineering investment.
  • Own product design across feature scoping and UI/UX. Coach POs and BAs to use AI design tools, and increasingly absorb UI/UX scope as those tools mature.
  • Be the visible AI builder role model for the broader R&D department. Your prototypes and tools should be the reference standard.
  • Represent the product function with operational stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners.
