We're Hiring: Operations & Administration Officer

The Nepal Economics Olympiad (NEO), Nepal's official partner of the International Economics Olympiad, is looking for a dynamic and organised Operations & Administration Officer to support the planning, coordination, and successful execution of NEO activities across the country.

📍 Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the administrative operations of NEO.

• Support the planning and execution of regional and national rounds.

• Communicate with schools, students, partners, sponsors, and stakeholders.

• Manage registrations, documentation, reports, and official correspondence.

• Coordinate event logistics, venues, schedules, and volunteer activities.

• Track project timelines and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

• Maintain office records and administrative systems.

• Assist in outreach, partnership, and fundraising activities when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification: +2 (higher secondary education) or equivalent.

• Strong organisational, coordination, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.

• Basic graphic design skills using Canva.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

• Good written and spoken English and Nepali communication skills.

• Previous experience in administration, event management, educational programmes, or student organisations will be an added advantage.

Candidates with a valid two-wheeler driving licence and access to a two-wheeler will be given priority, as the role may require occasional travel for meetings, school visits, and event coordination.
