Position Overview/Duties
Serves as a Program Analyst is assigned to the Military and Environmental Section. Provides staff assistance to management by performing analytical and evaluative tasks in support of funding requirements to Project and Program Managers for the Omaha District’s Military, Environmental Remediation and Support for Others programs. Provides financial and analytical support to include identification of funding threshold exceedances, financial approval of Purchase Requests and Commitments, acceptance of funds (direct, reimbursable), monthly status progress reports, project funding status, financial close-outs, and addressing numerous data calls. Imparts technical and financial guidance to lower graded employees on analyzing authorities for work acceptance and the proper use of funds after acceptance. Briefs Programs Management Branch Supervisors on assigned program issues.
Other Conditions And Requirements
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD, Section 9905 to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Minimum Experience Requirement: One year at grade level GS-0343-11.
