Role Description
We are looking for a Korea-based Program Manager to support and manage startup-focused programs centered around Singapore and Southeast Asia market expansion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-moving, cross-border environments with diverse stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about startups, innovation, ecosystem building, and helping founders navigate new markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Planning & Execution
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of startup and innovation programs focused on Singapore and Southeast Asia market expansion.
- Manage day-to-day program activities including scheduling, logistics, stakeholder coordination, communications, and reporting.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and startups to ensure smooth and timely program delivery.
- Track timelines, deliverables, and operational workflows while proactively identifying gaps or risks.
- Assist in organizing ecosystem activities such as workshops, networking sessions, demo days, immersion trips, and delegation visits.
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, briefing materials, and program documentation.
Startup & Founder Support
- Act as a key point of contact for participating startups and ecosystem stakeholders throughout the program journey.
- Coordinate mentor sessions, founder support activities, and business matching opportunities.
- Engage with startups, corporates, investors, government agencies, and ecosystem partners to support collaboration opportunities.
- Stay updated on startup ecosystem trends, innovation developments, and emerging technologies across Korea and Southeast Asia.
- Support relationship management and ecosystem-building efforts across regional markets.
Ecosystem & Partnership Engagement
- Support engagement with startups, corporates, investors, accelerators, universities, government agencies, and ecosystem partners.
- Assist in maintaining and growing Kiaora’s regional mentor and partner network.
- Stay informed on startup ecosystem trends, emerging technologies, and innovation developments across Korea and Southeast Asia.
- Assist in preparing presentations, ecosystem briefings, reports, and program documentation for partners and clients.
Operations & Internal Coordination
- Maintain organized documentation, databases, trackers, and reporting systems across programs.
- Support process improvements and internal knowledge management initiatives.
- Ensure operational excellence and attention to detail across all startup and partner interactions.
Qualifications
- Korea-based candidates preferred.
- Strong English communication skills in a professional business setting.
- Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn in dynamic startup ecosystem environments.
- 3+ years of experience in program management, startup ecosystems, accelerators, innovation programs, consulting, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of startups, innovation ecosystems, and Southeast Asia market dynamics.
- Experience working in multinational, startup, or fast-paced environments is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across remote teams, multiple projects, and different time zones.
Skills & Tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Strong organizational and project coordination abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive), Notion, and Canva.
