Position Summary
The Program Operations Analyst provides analytical, coordination, and operational support to FDA program leadership across multiple mission areas within the Center for Tobacco Products. Working as part of a two-person support team, the analyst helps organize meetings and stakeholder activities, conducts research, prepares reports and briefing materials, maintains activity trackers and documentation, supports process improvements, and assists with day-to-day program operations.
This role is well suited for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys coordinating multiple activities, solving problems, working with diverse stakeholders, and helping government leaders successfully execute important public health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day program operations across multiple FDA initiatives and functional areas
- .Coordinate meetings, working groups, conferences, and stakeholder activities, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, meeting materials, meeting notes, and follow-up actions
- .Conduct research, gather information, analyze findings, and assist in preparing reports, presentations, briefing materials, and written recommendations
- .Maintain activity trackers, schedules, status updates, action-item logs, and supporting documentation to help ensure work progresses as planned
- .Assist with documenting business processes, standard operating procedures, workflows, and operational guidance
- .Help coordinate activities among government personnel, contractor teammates, and external stakeholders
- .Prepare professional correspondence, presentations, briefing packages, and other written communications
- .Monitor action items, document issues and decisions, and help track follow-up activities to completion
- .Organize and maintain electronic files, records, reference materials, and supporting documentation
- .Assist leadership with coordinating operational initiatives, collecting information, and preparing materials for meetings and executive discussions
- .Support continuous improvement activities by identifying process efficiencies and documenting recommended improvements
- .Perform other analytical, coordination, and operational support activities as assigned

Required Qualification
- s Bachelor's degre
- e.Approximately two or more years of professional experience supporting business operations, program coordination, government programs, consulting, public health, healthcare, regulatory organizations, or similar environment

- s.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneousl
