Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct government projects from tender stage through to handover and defects liability
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Drive project strategy, programming, cost control, quality assurance, and site safety
- Manage and mentor project managers and site teams
- Ensure full compliance with HK government contract conditions, statutory regulations, and environmental/safety codes
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services, or related field
- min 20+ years in main contracting (Hong Kong experience essential)
- 8+ years as Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or Construction Director on government projects
- Candidates who have less experience will be considered as Senior Project Manager
- Must have experience in Government institutional buildings (e.g., schools, clinics, community halls, courts, fire stations) OR
- Environmental infrastructure projects (e.g., sewage treatment, waste management, recycling facilities
- Fluent in Cantonese and English (written and spoken)
- Strong government liaison, negotiation, crisis management, and leadership abilities
- Monthly salary range up to $180,000 + bonus!
