We’re looking for a hands-on, driven Project Executive to support the day-to-day operations and management of mining and natural resources projects in Côte d’Ivoire or Mauritania. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will be responsible for executing agreed strategies, keeping the project on track across scope, schedule, budget, and people, and maintaining clear and timely communication upward on progress, resource requirements, and external challenges.
This isn’t a desk-only job. You’ll be on the ground, solving problems in real time and keeping the team moving. While high-level strategy and key external relationships are led by senior management, you’ll be the operational engine that turns decisions into results — coordinating with local partners as needed and ensuring the project runs smoothly day to day

What you'll be doin

•Support the full project lifecycle — from planning and mobilisation through to delivery and close-out — making sure targets are hit on time and within budg
et.• Help to build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, keeping the whole team aligned and accountab
le.• Track project financials closely; monitor costs, flag risks early, and work with finance to keep spending in che
ck.• Manage procurement and contract administration with local and international suppliers and subcontracto
rs.• Ensure full compliance with environmental, safety, and labour regulations at all tim
es.• Identify and manage project risks proactively, putting mitigation plans in place before issues escala
te.• Support community relations and local content requirements as part of the project's operating licen
ce.

aves:• Degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related f
ield.• Proven track record managing projects in mining, natural resources, or heavy indu
stry.• Experience working in West Africa, having knowledge of the country regulatory and cultural landscape is a major advan
tage.• Fluent in French and Eng
lish.• Understand project financials, cost control, and contract manage
ment.• Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal across all le
vels.
