About the role:

Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager (On-Site) to support a portfolio of hospitality renovation and infrastructure project. This role is offered as a 1099 subcontractor engagement with Currie & Brown, while serving in an owner’s representative capacity for project delivery. This is a hands-on, client-facing role ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy being actively involved on site.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead preconstruction activities, including planning and coordination
  • Manage and update project schedules to ensure alignment with key milestones
  • Lead project meetings, including OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings
  • Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Provide weekly and monthly project reporting, including progress, risks, and updates
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and project stakeholders to support successful delivery
  • Maintain clear communication across all parties to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and budget

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Strong understanding of project management principles (PMI, RICS, or similar preferred)
  • Experience working on active construction sites and coordinating with trade subcontractors
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to manage reporting, coordination, and day-to-day project activities
  • Experience in hospitality or renovation projects is beneficial
  • International or remote project experience preferred but not essential

Additional requirements:

  • Candidates must be comfortable working in a 1099 subcontractor capacity
  • Responsible for securing and maintaining all required work permits, professional insurance, and related business requirements
