IWhen a property is transferred to an investor (like a bank or government agency), it must be in good condition. Our team investigates claims when an investor says the work wasn’t done right. You will look at the history of the property, figure out what went wrong, and decide who is responsible for the costs.

What You’ll Do

  • Investigate Claims: Review loan records and photos to see if the property work followed the rules.
  • Assign Responsibility: If a mistake was made, determine if it was the vendor’s fault or a company error.
  • Problem Solve: Handle disputes over fees, missed deadlines, or poor workmanship.
  • Keep Records: Update our tracking systems (Archer) and make sure all supporting documents (like photos and receipts) are saved.
  • Communicate Fast: Respond to emails and calls within 2 days and keep your team updated on your progress.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Expertise: You will learn to understand how loan reviews work and be familiar with investor rules (like FHA or Fannie Mae).
  • Tech Savvy: You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office and can jump between several different computer programs at once.
  • Eye for Detail: You can spot errors in paperwork and follow up until a problem is solved.
  • Efficiency: You can handle a busy workload while keeping your work accurate.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required
  • Solid foundation built from loan review, knowledge of investor guidelines and Safeguard experience required
  • Demonstrates effective oral and written communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and responsibilities
  • Ability to navigate through multiple computer applications simultaneously
  • Demonstrates continuous follow-up capability
