Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct health inspections in public facilities
• Monitor compliance at food processing and lodging sites
• Evaluate sewage disposal systems and plumbing
• Implement checks under Tobacco Control regulations
• Investigate concerns about environmental tobacco exposure
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
• Certification as Public Health Inspector (Canada)
• Basic Life Support certification needed
• Membership in Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors
