Join our team as a Public Relations Officer, supporting our marine agency’s daily operations, maritime licensing processes, and coordination with government authorities.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the company at relevant government offices including Police Stations, MOHRE, Immigration, Airports, Health Authorities, and Ministries as needed
- Assist with all PRO related functions including visa issuance, renewals, cancellations, work permits, and CICPA/security pass processing
- Liaise with embassies and consulates for obtaining business or crew entry visas
- Help manage company registrations and licenses with authorities such as the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, and Economic Department
- Stay informed of updates in UAE government laws and regulations that may affect operations
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all government-related processes
- Always ensure security and confidentiality of company and employee data
- Support internal departments by ensuring timely processing of all relevant government-related documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a PRO
- Experience working with a marine agency is an advantage
- Valid UAE driving license (mandatory)
- Fluent Arabic speaker
- Professional fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to work across all emirates as required
Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with UAE government portals (MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, etc.)
- Experience handling CICPA processes and permits for offshore vessels and crew is preferred
- Familiarity with MOEI (FTA) licensing and marine navigation permits in a marine agency environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of discretion and reliability
- Excellent communication and networking abilities
