Role Description
As a Qualified Accountant this is your opportunity to help manage one of the largest balance sheets in the UK, influence multi-billion-pound decisions, and support services that impact millions of people every day. You’ll be joining a 10,000+ strong finance community working across major departments including:
Finance Business Partner opportunities:
Drive strategic decision-making, shape investment choices, build robust business cases, and influence senior leaders.
Financial Accounting & Reporting opportunities:
Lead on statutory reporting, technical accounting advice, and financial control across complex organisations.
You will need:
- Full CIMA or CCAB (or equivalent) and relevant experience in accounting or financial management
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills
- Effective communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within hybrid work environments

Locations
These are permanent hybrid roles for Qualified Accountants and can be based in Darlington Leeds Manchester Newcastle or Sheffield.
