Job Purpose
Develop and manage a comprehensive quality management system, environmental management system and occupational health and safety management system acc. to ISO 9001/2015, ISO 14001/2026 and ISO 45001/2018.
Verify and validate all new products before launching to the customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the strategy, policy and the objectives of the company and quality department and how to achieve them.
- Establish, direct, and coordinate the company’s systems, including the implementation of ISO 9001/2015, ISO 14001/2026 and ISO 45001/2018 Systems and their procedures.
- Take part in implementing the company’s environmental program, including the implementation of ISO14001 systems and its procedures.
- Take part in implementing the company’s occupational health and safety program, including the implementation of ISO 45001/2018 system and its procedures.
- Participate with the Quality Control manager to prepare the quality plans for all company’s products.
- Manage and organize the internal audit program for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001/2018.
- Lead the activities of management review for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001/2018.
- Direct and manage all activities of quality lab including Durability tests, measurements, tests of products and calibrations
- Follow up the implementation of statistical process control with the help of quality control manager as mentioned in QC Procedures.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of products and processes.
- Establish the technical specifications of products and raw materials involved in production.
- Review and update policies and procedures for quality, environment, and safety acc. to ISO 9001/2015, ISO14001/2026 and ISO 45001/2018, as needed.
- Follow-up the implementation of the completion of customer complaints with the rest of the departments concerned.
- Communicate with governmental authorities to obtain the latest update of laws, legislation, and other requirements.
- Communicate with certification and notification bodies for our certifications related to ISO Systems and product standards as CE Mark and European and Egyptian standards.
- Responsible for qualifying the company's products to conform the European and Egyptian standards.
- Verify and validate the new products and establish the final quality reports for them to launch to the customers
- Engaging, directing, and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system.
- Support in qualifying suppliers " SQD " to supply raw materials and products that meet our acceptance criteria and standards.
- Promoting continual improvement by technical recommendations and tests acc. to standards and establish the intended quality reports required.
- Take part in cost reduction and cost avoidance activities.
- Prepare and follow up all samples of products required for the high-end projects, Mega projects and its stands required.
- Supporting other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is mandatory.
- Quality-related certifications are highly preferred.
Experience
- Up to 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management Systems, or Testing Laboratory functions.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
- Experience with product certifications, ISO systems, audits, and laboratory operations is essential.
- Experience working within integrated management systems is highly prefered
