Position Summary & Objective

The Regional Sales Director, LATAM is responsible for driving aggressive revenue growth, market expansion, and new business acquisition across Latin America. The role leads the commercial strategy for Government Revenue Services (GRS), Identity & Verification (ID), Authentication, and Secure Digital Solutions, with a primary focus on winning new customers, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding Crane Authentication's portfolio footprint across both public and private sector markets.

The role will identify, create, and convert opportunities with revenue authorities, government agencies, identity programs, financial institutions, telecommunications providers, and other regulated industries. The successful candidate will develop and execute market-entry and account-expansion strategies that accelerate growth, increase market share, and position Crane Authentication as the partner of choice for secure authentication and identity solutions throughout the region.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute the LATAM commercial strategy to drive new business, market penetration, revenue growth, and account expansion.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure high-value opportunities across government, financial services, regulated industries, and adjacent markets.
  • Build a robust pipeline, targeted growth plans, and market-entry strategies for priority countries, segments, and white-space opportunities.
  • Maximize adoption of Crane Authentication's portfolio by developing cross-sell, upsell, and enterprise-wide customer opportunities.
  • Build senior customer, government, channel, consulting, and ecosystem relationships to expand regional coverage and routes to market.
  • Lead complex tenders, negotiations, strategic bids, and contract opportunities while protecting margin and commercial discipline.
  • Drive sales excellence through disciplined opportunity management, pipeline reviews, sales execution, forecasting, and market insight.
  • Lead, coach, and manage sales channels and agents, setting clear performance objectives
  • Ensure all regional opportunities and customer engagements comply with applicable legal, regulatory, governance, ethics, security, and data protection requirements.

Qualifications

Education / Certification

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Professional sales training and certifications such as Challenger, Miller Heiman, Strategic Selling, MEDDICC, or equivalent are desirable.

Experience

  • 12–15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in Latin/Central America.
  • Significant experience developing new business and entering new markets across multiple LATAM countries.
  • Demonstrated success delivering sustained revenue growth and market expansion in complex B2B or government-facing environments.
  • Proven ability to win, negotiate, and deliver high-value, multi-year contracts.
  • Experience selling technology, authentication, identity, digital transformation, cybersecurity, secure printing, or related solutions.
  • Strong track record of developing strategic partnerships and channel ecosystems, in particular with system integrators, government IT contractors, identity providers, and/or technology alliances.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed direct/indirect sales teams across multiple countries.
  • Experience working with government agencies, revenue authorities, financial institutions, or highly regulated industries is highly desirable.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Fluency in Spanish and English required; Portuguese strongly preferred.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a proven track record of winning new business.
  • Expertise in consultative and strategic selling methodologies.
  • Excellent opportunity qualification, pipeline development, and sales execution capability.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement and commercial decision-making processes across LATAM.
  • Ability to identify and develop emerging market opportunities and translate them into revenue.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and deal-structuring skills.
  • Experience building executive-level relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of authentication, identity verification, fraud prevention, digital trust, or security technologies.
  • Highly entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and comfortable operating in fast-growth environments.
  • Strong cross-cultural leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • High degree of resilience, personal accountability, and commercial drive.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
