I. Position Overview
The Regional Vice President is responsible for the overall business operations and strategic execution of the company within a designated region. This role comprehensively manages revenue growth, operational efficiency, organizational development, and customer satisfaction within the region. Reporting directly to the Senior Executive Team, this position serves as a pivotal leadership role, bridging the gap between corporate headquarters strategy and frontline execution.
II. Core Responsibilities
1. Regional Strategy & Business Growth
Formulate and execute regional business development strategies, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives.
Drive revenue growth, increase market share, and optimize profitability.
Identify new business opportunities as well as potential M&A or expansion opportunities within the region.
2. Operations Management
Oversee all operational units within the region (hospitals, clinics, business centers, etc.).
Optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Ensure that all business units meet their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial targets.
3. Financial & Performance Management
Responsible for regional budget formulation and cost control.
Monitor Profit & Loss (P&L) performance to ensure financial health and sustainable growth.
Analyze key operational metrics and formulate measures for improvement.
4. Team Leadership & Organizational Development
Lead the regional executive team and heads of various business units.
Foster a high-performance culture and build a talent pipeline.
Responsible for the recruitment, development, and succession planning for key positions.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure that regional operations comply with industry regulations and corporate compliance standards.
Manage operational risks and oversee emergency response mechanisms.
6. Customer & Partnership Management
Maintain relationships with key clients, government agencies, and strategic partners.
Enhance customer satisfaction and ensure the stability of long-term partnerships.
III. Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher (MBA or a relevant advanced degree is preferred).
Over 20 years of management experience, including at least 5 years of experience in regional or multi-site management.
Background in healthcare, energy, manufacturing, the service sector, or large-scale operational enterprises is preferred.
Possess strong financial analysis capabilities and P&L management experience.
Excellent strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
Strong leadership skills, cross-functional coordination abilities, and communication skills.
Ability to accommodate extensive travel and manage operations across multiple regions.
