Location: Merritt
Lead environmental initiatives with K’en T’em Limited Partnership as the Environment and Regulatory Manager in Merritt, BC. Manage compliance, permitting, and stewardship efforts across the organization.
This full-time, permanent role reports to the Natural Resources Manager and involves overseeing environmental programs and regulatory activities. You will support sustainable operations and resource management while collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including Indigenous communities, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead environmental and regulatory program planning and implementation
• Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
• Manage environmental permitting and regulatory submissions
• Develop and maintain environmental management systems
• Mentor environmental professionals and technical staff
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Environmental Science or related field
• Minimum three years of environmental management experience
• Two years of supervisory experience required
• Knowledge of Indigenous environmental governance practices
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence
Drive environmental stewardship and compliance while fostering valuable community relationships at K’en T’em.
