REGULATORY SPECIALIST I –
District Receptionist Position Number: Hiring Salary: $1,336.92 Bi-weekly
Work You Will Do
This position works independently to process, track, and maintain district records and files, research reports, licenses and other related inquiries, and perform technology duties including extensive knowledge of agency software using Versa:
Regulation and OnBase. Other duties include responding to complaints and inquiries from the public, performing duties of the AAII as needed, preparing and processing legal documents, documenting compliance, imaging documents, maintaining computer logs, answering a busy multi‑line telephone, distributing mail, researching or referring questions about inspection reports, logging complaints, and assisting with district correspondence and special reports. The role may also include handling revenue in the absence of the AAII.
Minimum Requirements
- Two years of general office experience, including customer service experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Disclosed education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities must be provided on the State of Florida Employment Application.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Answer a busy multi‑line telephone.
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Possess strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word, Access, and Excel.
- Interpret statutes and rules, evaluate, and make decisions on licensure issues.
