Position: Regulatory Specialist for Forest Licensing

We are looking for a permanent team member to join the Forest Licensing Unit. You will provide essential support and expertise on forestry legislation, wood allocation, and coordinate the implementation of a streamlined forest tenure system. This role requires interaction with field organizations to address policy and operational issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on forestry regulations and compliance
• Support divisions with policy implementation and management
• Oversee the integration of modern forest pricing systems
• Help resolve operational issues in wood allocation
• Liaise with industry officials and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Valid Class ‘G’ driver’s license required
• In-depth knowledge of forestry programs and regulations
• Familiarity with resource management principles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage projects under pressure
