2. About the Opportunity:
The Remote Customer Service Representative serves as the primary contact for inquiries related to the NJ Family Care Program. This role supports potential and current beneficiaries as well as community organizations by providing clear and accurate information, processing applications, and maintaining program knowledge. The position is essential for ensuring effective communication and enrollment, directly contributing to the accessibility and success of the program.
3. Responsibilities:
• Serve as the initial contact for inquiries from NJ Family Care beneficiaries and community organizations
• Provide one-to-one telephone support to applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees
• Document enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances accurately
• Enter application and enrollment data into a web-based system
• Maintain updated knowledge of NJ Family Care program rules and policies
• Deliver clear, accurate, and objective information based on program requirements
4. Requirements:
• Basic understanding of call center environments and quality monitoring
• Ability to build effective relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and coworkers
• Problem-solving skills using analysis and feedback
• Commitment to achieving results with knowledge and empathy
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• High School diploma or GED
• Background and drug screening required
• Must reside in states where the compensation complies with local wage laws
• Not hiring in AK, CA, HI, MA, IL, MT, NY, or certain metropolitan areas including Minneapolis, Chicago, New York City, Portland, Montgomery County, Seattle, and Washington DC
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• $16.00 per hour (bi-weekly pay)
• Compensation may be below some state minimum wages; applicants should consider this before applying
• Position may be eligible for bonuses or incentives based on business needs
