Peterson Cat has a need for a Safety Manager who will be based at our Hillsboro, OR location.
SUMMAR
YThe Safety Manager leads the development and implementation of safety programs for an assigned region to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role partners with branch and department leaders to align safety goals with business objectives and promote a proactive safety culture centered around accountability and continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities include conducting site visits and safety assessments, facilitating safety training, maintaining safety documentation and emergency preparedness plans, leading and supporting incident investigations, and overseeing regulatory inspection activities

- d.Responsible to oversee all aspects of occupational safety in designated region, implementing safety programs, ensuring compliance with government and industry standards, and communicating safety related matters to Director of Corporate Services and other senior manager

QUALIFICATI
ONSBachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college in Business or other closely related field; and a minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experien
