Role Description

The candidate for this position will drive sales and market development of Liugong Heavy construction and earth-moving equipment in Ethiopia by identifying projects, devloping & managing key accounts and providing equipment solutions that meet customer operational and financial needs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across construction, mining, infrastructure, and government sectors in Ethiopia.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, building long-term relationships with contractors, project owners, and decision-makers.
  • Conduct site visits, project assessments, and equipment demonstrations to understand customer operational requirements.
  • Prepare and present tailored equipment proposals, quotations, and financial solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets for heavy construction and earth-moving equipment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming projects to identify opportunities ahead of the competition.
  • Coordinate with technical, aftersales and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction post-sale.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings professionally.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of sales experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, or a related industry.
  • Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Eligibility

Candidates must be Ethiopian nationals or hold a valid legal right to work in Ethiopia at the time of application.
