What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Receive phone calls and fax requests to schedule patients for outpatient tests
- Complete pre-registration of scheduled patients and ensure a valid provider order is obtained
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients during the scheduling process
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling information
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of 1 year previous Radiology Scheduling or Patient Access experience
- Knowledge of insurance payors, including commercial, government, and third-party
- High level of compassion and desire to provide quality, safe patient care
- Office experience in a healthcare environment, including knowledge of medical terminology and CPT-ICD 10
- High School Diploma or GED required
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience working remotely with minimal supervision
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage time effectively
- Familiarity with healthcare scheduling software or systems
