The EPA is recruiting for its next Industrial Regulation Section Manager – 2 positions available.
These senior leadership roles put you at the forefront of environmental protection – leading a small team to deliver the EPA’s on-ground regulatory response.
About the role(s)
You’ll ensure contemporary environmental regulation of a broad range of industrial activities across the state, oversee regulatory operations, ensuring industrial activities comply with environmental legislative requirements and align with EPA priorities to prevent harm to communities and the environment.
Key responsibilities
• Lead and support a high-performing regulatory team
• Plan and deliver frontline compliance and enforcement activities
• Oversee audits, inspections, and environmental assessments
• Manage non-compliance and environmental incidents
• Build strong partnerships with industry, government, and interest groups
About you
An experienced regulator and leader, you bring strong judgement and experience in team management, industry, and environmental management, and the ability to lead through change while driving a positive team culture.
