About the Role
You’ll be part of a 24/7 SOC, responsible for monitoring, triaging, and escalating security alerts while building your technical capability in a real-world environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitor and triage security alerts across SIEM and EDR tools
- Perform initial investigation of potential security incidents
- Analyse logs across endpoints, networks and cloud platforms
- Escalate higher-risk alerts in line with established processes
- Document findings clearly within case management systems
- Support shift handovers and day-to-day SOC operations
- Learn from experienced analysts in a fast-paced security environment
What We’re Looking For
- Active NV1 or NV2 clearance (must-have)
- Background in IT support, networking, or cyber security
- Exposure to security tools or concepts (SIEM, alerts, threats)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Clear communication skills and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in a shift-based (24/7) environment
