JOB SUMMARY

Senior analyst in Investment Solutions responsible for analysing, designing, implementing & supporting EPF investment systems.

The role is responsible for evaluating business and technical system suitability, collaborating with cross-functional teams from business, technology teams and external parties to translate requirements into effective, scalable solutions. The role also drives continuous process and systems improvement by designing enterprise-aligned solutions and ensuring seamless execution through the supervision of system upgrades, enhancements, and new installations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities

1. Application Support & Maintenance

• Deliver stable, high-performing IT solutions, champion ongoing improvements, and resolve incidents autonomously on critical issues.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, stability, and integration health.
• Adopt ITIL management processes – Incident, Problem, Change and lead root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term fixes to prevent recurring incidents.

2. Application Development

• Lead requirement analysis and translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Ensure application development is developed in accordance with the business requirements, internal controls, and audit processes.
• Hold ultimate accountability for the quality, compliance, and timely delivery of application development.
• Recommend and implement system improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.

3. Project & Solution Deliveries

• Lead delivery of system enhancements, integrations, and change requests from design to deployment.
• Assess solution feasibility, system impact, and dependencies to recommend optimal approaches.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with 3rd parties and external parties in system integration for seamless integration across the enterprise landscape, requirements, solutioning and troubleshooting.

4. Project Management

• Manage assigned projects or workstreams, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes with proper mitigation plans.
• Proactively communicate project status, risks, and achievement to management & stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, technical discussions, and UAT sessions for smooth project execution.

5. Collaboration & Administration

• Build and nurture strong working relationships across EPF, including users, management, external vendors and advisors.
• Provide advisory support on system capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
• Manage system configurations, access controls, and environment readiness.
• Manage vendor performance, SLA compliance, and contribute to knowledge-sharing and team development.

Secondary Responsibilities

1. Financial Responsibilities

• Support the HOU in budget planning and cost management for system maintenance, upgrades, and project deployments.
• Manage vendor performance, service-level agreements (SLAs), and contract negotiations.

2. Stakeholder Management

• Ensure that all solutions are compliant, integrated, and aligned with organizational priorities.
• Resolve escalated issues and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
• Facilitate alignment between business needs and technical solutions to support informed decision-making.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Malaysian citizen.
• Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field recognized by the Government, with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
• Minimum 7 – 10 years of experience in IT security, risk management, or cybersecurity advisory roles.
• Broad and/or in depth knowledge in application management knowledge, product solution, and application design (software/hardware requirements, network, system functionalities, security, process & policies.
• Experience in analysing application functionality, solution designing, integration, scripting and reporting.
• Understanding of EPF product systems & processes, security roles, DB concepts, and system architecture.
