About the role:
Efiniti is growing and we're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support key strategic initiatives for our client.
In this role, you'll work closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyse, define, and deliver business requirements across complex transformation, technology, and operational programs. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and solution delivery, ensuring outcomes are aligned with strategic objectives and delivered efficiently and effectively.

Contract Term: 12 months Contract + Extension
What you will do:
· Lead stakeholder engagement, discovery workshops and requirements sessions across business, technology and operational teams.
· Establish a clear understanding of project scope, objectives, priorities, constraints, risks and dependencies.
· Perform data discovery, validation and analysis across multiple systems and business areas.
· Consolidate complex information into clear insights, options and recommendations for senior decision-makers.
· Complete current-state and future-state analysis, including gap assessments and transition planning.
· Elicit, analyse, prioritise and document business, functional, technical and non-functional requirements.
· Define security, compliance, migration, data and platform onboarding requirements where required.
· Develop process maps, system flows, data flows, domain models and lifecycle diagrams.
· Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability across design, delivery, testing and implementation.
· Translate business requirements into clear deliverables for technical teams, vendors and delivery partners.
· Review proposed solutions and delivery approaches to identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities.
· Support test planning, test scenarios, validation, User Acceptance Testing and acceptance criteria.
· Coordinate risks, issues and dependencies across project teams, technology domains and external suppliers.
· Support implementation planning, operational readiness, transition and change activities.
· Facilitate weekly project meetings, stand-ups, workshops and governance forums.
· Provide mentoring, guidance and quality assurance support to other Business Analysts where required.
What makes you a great fit:
•Strong experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst within large-scale enterprise environments, delivering complex business and technology initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional teams
• Extensive experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and governance across multiple delivery streams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and translate findings into practical recommendations
• Proven experience producing high-quality business analysis deliverables and maintaining end-to-end traceability across the SDLC
• Excellent workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
• Strong understanding of project governance frameworks, risk management, issue management, dependency management, and change control processes
• Experience working across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver outcomes within tight deadlines
• Demonstrated leadership capability, including mentoring Business Analysts and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Who We’re Looking For:
• 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including experience operating at a Senior or Lead Business Analyst level
• Experience supporting complex technology, telecommunications, infrastructure or transformation programs within a large enterprise environment.
• Strong experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, technical leaders and subject-matter experts.
• Proven requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation and management capability.
• Proven experience delivering business analysis services within large enterprise technology, infrastructure, transformation, or digital programs
• Experience in business process modelling, requirements management, stakeholder engagement, and solution delivery
• Strong understanding of business analysis frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence activities
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Industry-recognised Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, BABOK, Agile BA, or equivalent) highly regarded
