Job Summary: 

Eskaton Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant to support organizational transformation initiatives for clients undergoing operational change, restructuring, or performance improvement efforts. 

Senior Consultants co-lead workstreams, shape insights, and support client engagement with a high level of independence. They guide Consultants, contribute to strategic problem-solving, and ensure high-quality deliverables across engagements. 

This role will support organizational restructuring, operating model design, governance improvements, and process optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in complex environments, synthesizing data into actionable insights, and supporting leadership teams through organizational change. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

Organizational Transformation & Restructuring 

 

  • Lead analysis and design of organizational restructuring and operating model transformations for complex client environments. 
  • Partner with senior leadership to design operating structures, governance frameworks, and accountability models 
  • Partner with senior leadership teams workforce strategy initiatives including classification analysis, position management, and career framework development 
  • Analyze organizational structures, roles, and governance frameworks 
  • Develop recommendations to improve accountability, decision-making, and operational effectiveness 

 

Project Delivery & Workstream Leadership 

 

  • Lead assigned workstreams and oversee end-to-end delivery 
  • Develop frameworks, models, and structured strategic recommendations 
  • Conduct research and analysis to support transformation initiatives 
  • Synthesize complex analysis into executive-ready reports and presentations 
  • Monitor project milestones and track key deliverables across workstreams 

 

Stakeholder Engagement 

 

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate working sessions 
  • Navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments with competing priorities and sensitivities 
  • Present insights and recommendations to client stakeholders 
  • Support leadership alignment and communication during organizational change initiatives 

 

Team Leadership & Quality Assurance 

 

  • Mentor Consultants and review deliverables for structure, accuracy, and quality 
  • Ensure deliverables meet Eskaton Consulting standards and client expectations 
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across project workstreams 

 

Internal Firm Contribution 

 

  • Contribute to internal methodologies, tools, and consulting frameworks 
  • Drive and Support thought leadership and knowledge sharing across the firm 

 

Additional Responsibilities 

 

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Leadership Team or Project Manager 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred 
  • 3–6+ years of consulting, organizational transformation, or human capital experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead analytical workstreams 
  • Experience supporting operating model design, or transformation initiatives 
  • Experience navigating complex public-sector or state government environments (e.g., capitol offices, multi-division agencies, or executive governance structures) is strongly preferred. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Big 4 or management consulting, or public sector consulting experience preferred 
  • Certifications such as PMP, Prosci, Agile/Scrum, or related certifications 
  • Experience facilitating client workshops or discovery sessions 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Advanced problem-solving and structured thinking 
  • Strong communication and executive presentation abilities 
  • Ability to lead junior staff and oversee task execution 
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to manage client interactions confidently 
  • Strong prioritization and time-management skills 
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods 
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or firm events
