Position: Senior Contract Specialist- Secret with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Contract Specialist to join a Federal Program located in Arlington, VA though a hybrid work model, onsite one day per week. The Contracts Specialist will analyze cost, contract negotiations/modifications, and procurement policies of DoD Research and Development contracts. Responsibilities of the Contract Specialist:
* Assisting in the negotiation on contracts
* Analyzing proposed costs and prices
* Preparing required contract file documentation per the FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations
* Analyzing procurement policies and procedures Qualifications of the Contract Specialist:
* 5-8 years of experience as a Contract Officer
* FAR and DFAR Experience
* Experience with PD2
* Experience in government or commercial procurement
* Bachelor’s Degree Required
* Active Secret Security Clearance Required Compensation for the Contract Specialist:
* Salary Range: $140,000 – $165,000
