As a Senior Economist in the Economic Planning Division, you will help shape national strategy, fiscal policy, and key government decisions—directly contributing to the country’s long-term growth, resilience, and development.

🔍 What you’ll do
• Provide high-level economic advice on policy and major national initiatives
• Support the Budget and medium-term fiscal strategy
• Undertake cost-benefit analysis and economic modelling
• Quality-assure policy outputs and briefings
• Represent MFEM in national and international forums
• Mentor and develop junior economists
🎯 What we’re looking for
• Postgraduate qualification in Economics (or related field)
• 5–7 years’ experience in policy, modelling, or government
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to deliver clear, impactful advice to senior decision-makers
