This position is based in Qatar Doha

You will be responsible for safeguarding the organization’s reputation and ensuring its structural integrity, as serves as the primary bridge between the organization’s internal governance (Board operations, policy, and compliance) and its external affairs (government relations, public policy, and stakeholder engagement).

Core Functions

Governance Framework Management: Developing and overseeing the role of the organization, ensuring accountability, fairness, and transparency across the Board and its subsidiaries.

Reputation & Stakeholder Management: Acting as the sentine for the company’s public image, managing relations with media, government bodies.

Regulatory & Public Affairs: Monitoring and influencing the legislative landscape to ensure corporate interests are reflected in law and that all operations remain compliant with evolving standards.

Board Secretarial Support: Coordinating high-level meetings, managing board calendars, and ensuring that executive decisions are properly documented and implemented.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Development: Creating and maintaining the Corporate Governance Manual, Code of Ethics, and Delegation of Authority frameworks.

Strategic Advisory: Providing high-level counsel to the Management and Board on reputational risks, public policy trends, and governance best practices.

Crisis Communication: Leading the legal and public response to high-stakes issues, such as regulatory investigations or reputational threats.

Compliance Monitoring: Overseeing internal audits related to governance and ensuring accurate, timely statutory filings and regulatory disclosures.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law and passed a US bar exam(optional), with at least 5 years in a senior management capacity.

Experience: 5–10 years in governance, compliance, or corporate affairs, with a proven track record in highly regulated industries.

Language: Bilingual (Arabic and English) (Not Mandatory)
